Since 2013, PAL Finland has developed Albio®, an ethanol PoC test for paramedics and emergency departments. Albio was launched in Q4/2021, and currently we have distribution in more than 10 countries.

Idea to create Albio came from field circumstances. In the same night, paramedics encountered two patients who were suspected of being drunk. However, eventually, both of the patients had a stroke. "Why can't there be a quick way to detect alcohol levels from unconscious patients?" the paramedics wondered.

PAL Finland has been making its R&D through a network of experts. Company has collaborated with leading research institutes, international companies and vendors. Through the expertise PAL Finland has been able to create a first aid solution which fulfills the needs and requirements of different ER environments.
